Farewell Sentinel Pass

Farewell Sentinel Pass. All good things must come to and end! It’s time to return back to the trailhead after a fantastic hike (minus the Smokey skies). One more picture of Pinnacle mountain, as I descended down the trail. It’s just such a memorable pyramid-like mountain to gaze at. Off I go downward, back to Moraine Lake, then back on the shuttle bus. Tomorrow, Lake Louise was the planned activity!

[Laughter] Yes, I think the ones at the base, not sure about the high tops, what are they called, mountains? Those are kinda steep.

What a great adventure. The pyramid shaped rock is majestic. To me , in the last photos the rock looked like a sleeping buffalo.
