East Kootenay Lakes Kamera Roll

Nestled in the mountains of East Kootenay are the Silver Springs Lakes. Three small lakes in total. As it turned out, I took quite a few photos here (big surprise right..lol), as everything just seemed so photogenic. From the clear blueish green water to the jagged cliff jumping edges, it was a very splendid adventure. I will be returning sometime soon, to explore other hiking opportunities in the area. I’m starting to really like the idea of spending more time in less populated areas, versus the packed and overpopulated Banff Park.

the appearance of the lake is very beautiful. I was imagining sitting on the edge of the lake playing in the water, it felt really good.

These are so pretty ... what strikes me is the way the water flattens out in black and white ... the visual cues that indicates depth and reflection almost becomes like it is drawn in white and silver upon the bottom in 2D, not 3D ... truly a different world!

Yes, the black and white totally change the perspective. One of the reasons I love to post both versions. Thanks for the comment.

It's amazing how you can actually see the rocks in the water. It's a beautiful place, it looks like many people aren't interested to come here?

The crowds are told to go to the major parks like Banff, plus it's off the beaten path too. Thanks for looking @josediccus.

These waters seemed warmer than the ones further north. Thanks for stopping by.

That's a really pretty lake, a shallow one too at the moment anyway. But sure makes for some beautiful water! Today I think color takes the cake, only for the color of the water. Nice pictures!
