East Kootenay Lake

DSC07443.jpeg

Here we are up at Hourglass Lake, East Kootenay, British Columbia. It was a mostly overcast afternoon, but I still managed to get some super shots by the lake. Could have used bluer skies, but the weather can’t be perfect all the time. Quite a bit of snow still on the mountains for mid June. In fact while we were lounging by the lakeside, the snow started to fall. Not exactly what one wants to experience while out on the hiking trail, but luckily it only lasted for about 20 minutes. Thanks for stopping by.

It's that higher elevation, even in mid July there is still some snow on the tops, in places.

This is truly a place with amazing views, even though it is cloudy, the atmosphere there still radiates beautifully.

Woah, Snow in mid June. Nature just keeps hikers on their toes. At least it made for some epic shots, cloudy skies give a nice moody vibe too, very cool shots man

Sweet shots. This is what I like about the Sony lens. It did justice to the first shot of that icy mountains and lake.

Yes, with the Huawei it just wouldn't be as clear. Someday I'll have to do a side by side comparison.

I like the big hill in that photo graph, but I don't like the gray water as much
