Diverse Horticultural Experience

DSC09368.jpeg

Walking around through the Japanese section, here at Butchart gardens, Victoria, British Columbia. One of five different themed gardens. As much as I loved the Japanese garden, it was not my favourite of the bunch. Probably if I had to choose a favourite, it would be the “sunken garden”. Simply more flowers to gaze at (and a fountain or two); I guess I am a sucker for colourful things. All in all, five different themed gardens made this an epic diverse horticultural experience! Thanks for stopping by.

The sunken garden sounds incredible. Your post really captures its vibrant charm and makes me excited to see it through the lens too.

Many many vibrant flowers at the sunken garden, the Japanese garden had few flowers.

Even though there are no colorful flowers, the park you visit is still beautiful. The moss on the side of the road provides encouragement and space for a deep sense of calm to walk along the road.

Yes, this path or road has an amazing look and feeling to it. Ponder life as you walk along.

What an interesting name, the Sunken Garden. It is extremely pretty though! That first shot of the path almost gives a feel as if I were walking along a path in the ancient Mayan times in Central America. Gorgeous! I love the last shot too, really pretty!

Any idea where you are heading back east next summer yet?

Still under review. I am leaning toward Nova Scotia in July. Could even return to Vancouver island! We had such an epic time there!

The thing about Butchart Gardens is, it's almost always different each time you go.
