Cliff Edges

DSC00267.jpeg

I really went to town with the camera shutter here at Wilmer wetlands. Just so many photo ops, it was so gorgeous! It is like I entered a different planet. After following the trail along the cliff edges, I pretty came to the end of the trail. Thought the hike was one big circle more or less, however, after “circling back” I found myself on part of the trail which had me confused. I thought I was circling back, but as I walked, the terrain was not familiar. But I pressed on anyways. Finally making my way to the dirt road I came in on, and then having to walk about 15 minutes down the road back to the car. I made it! Thanks for stopping by.

There are also a lot of water plants in there, I think I never seen that many in so much space, usually they are in small ponds

Getting a little lost is sometimes part of the fun :) The photos are absolute lovely...

It seems that the water was higher, which caused erosion

I would think it is more wind erosion, but I am no expert.

Getting a little stuck doesn't matter; the result is worth it. The place is stunning.

Pretty in it's own way. No a lot of giant pines, but it looks so pleasant. Glad you made it out alive, those cliff trails can be precarious. I avoid those these days, I'm not as young as I once was...

Great pictures as always!

How's the week treating you?
