Cascade Ponds
This is one of my favourite spots to go to inside Banff National Park. It is known as Cascade Ponds. Situated very close to the town of Banff, it can be accessed quite easily. Want to take your significant other out for a romantic walk, then this is the place to go! Also plenty of great photos ops around here to appreciate as well. Only pitfall may be the crowds of people if you visit during peak season. These photos were taken mid July, but the crowds were in fact not too bad on this particular day (thank goodness). A walk around the ponds takes about 30 minutes or so, so not too strenuous. A perfect warm-down activity as well, after a more rigorous hike perhaps. What you waiting for, get your park pass and come on over!
