Bridges

DSC00190.jpeg

This is one of them hikes that requires you to cross a bridge. It is always an extra thrill to be able to cross a bridge, or a walking bridge, and even a boardwalk of any dimension. How about a suspension bridge?! While on Vancouver island last Summer we walked out on a suspension bridge to view a water fall — that was pretty awesome. As you can tell, the river level was quite low at the time these photos were taken. Definitely around now July 1st, this river Kootenay will be flowing higher and stronger. I wish I was there to witness it now. Thanks for stopping by.

Wall over bridges designed just for humans it's kinda nice sometimes, those made also for cars are quite ugly and not much exciting with all the smog

I love bridges, paths and, even more so, landscapes featuring nature, water and lots of trees. I’ve never crossed a suspension bridge before; it must be an interesting experience, especially because of the views you can enjoy from it.

Your photographs are spectacular, it’s a great place to explore, appreciate, enjoy and spend a good amount of time in. Thank you for your excellent work. A big hug!🤗

Great shots wow. I think the first picture you started with was a great choice and I think your camera did a great job too, the zoom, the ability to still capture that bridge even from that distance.

I've been loving this sony for it's capabilities. Another reason to basically stop using the iPhone pro.

You are absolutely right; crossing a bridge especially a suspension bridge always offers an incredible sensation. I once crossed one on a motorcycle, and when I was right in the middle, the bridge started swaying. Let me tell you, my heart felt like it was doing a disco dance🤭

Right now you can pretty much walk right across the river it's so shallow! lol. It's beautiful water though, and those bridges are a must for spring melt I'm sure. It really can be a amazing just how much a river can rise with just rain, I've seen a tiny creek turn into a massive river in the matter of a day when it rained long enough!

That sure is a nice place for pictures, pretty water and pines all along the sides. Great place to take a bunch of pictures, which is exactly what you did! lol

Any big plans for this weekend for you and the family?
