Blakiston Falls and Creek

The gorgeous creek water makes its way through the canyon and over the falls. Not the highest falls around, but pretty and exquisite in their own way. It was a memorable short hike and a relatively easy at that. Will most certainly be coming back here again and again in the future, and you ought to too! Canada’s national parks are simply incredible for all ages to enjoy. This is one of Alberta’s five national parks. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!

Do people actually take a dip in these canyon waters or is it just too shallow to do so?
Probably not so much here, although closer to the parking lot is the red rock creek, and people do go there and wade into the water.
Ah brings me back a couple years to my visit to the mountain streams every time.
I do love the black & white comparison but this one speaks to me more in colour. Just the subtle hues of green and brown life on those contrast lines make it literally spring to life.
Thanks for taking me back again man.
It's time again to come out west! So many places to explore in Alberta alone.
That photo graph is cool where the water rushes, a little Turquoise
