Black ‘N White Blakiston

Today’s focus is on black and white. Usually I focus more on colour, but I was pleased with how these turned out in black and white. Almost takes you back in time, a time when things were a lot simpler. The pre tv and video era. Before I was born, and probably most of you reading this! A time when things were less complicated, at least thats what it seems like how it would have or could have been. I suppose I will never actually know, but it is fun to think about sometimes. Photos taken around Blakiston Falls. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for the share.
Such a beautiful capture when comverted to black & white, especially the first one. Very apt one for a pencil drawing.
Yes, that would be fantastic to see.
Ysss
We have a saying here "it was better when it was worse", cause we all think back in the days it was worse the situation, but they lived with less stress, more simply, less poison and pollution...
I'm not a fan of black and white, in some cases it's good however
Less is more!
Black and white doesn't appeal to everyone which is true.

I'd like to know, is that first photo a zoomed in shot?
Yes it is.
That first shot in mono came out truly amazing, I can see why you show cased it! Such a gorgeous shot, it's amazing how much destruction fire brings but does leave it's subtle beauty after it ravages the landscape.
Sorry I've missed you the last few days, I've been a little out of action after tripping like an idiot. I've been so sore I haven't gotten much done the past five days or so! I hope you had a great weekend, any adventures to speak of? I wish I could say I had, but just pain killers and muscle relaxants!

Went for a walk at one of our local parks, other than that, nothing too exciting to speak of.
Simple nostalgia is interesting. The pre-TV era sounds like a good story.
