Birds of Waterton

So I did a quick search to find out what kinds of birds call Waterton lake their home, and was surprised when the search results listed about 15 different birds. I will list them now: Coots, Canada Geese, Tundra Swans, Cinnamon Teal, Northern Shovelers, Hooded Mergansers, Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, Osprey, Prairie Falcons, Songbirds, White-Tailed Ptarmigan, Gray-Crowned Rosy Finches, Brewer’s Sparrows, and Rock Wrens! To me, this bird looks like a Seagull, but most certainly, I am no expert. I wonder what kind of bird this is? Thanks for stopping by.

The lucky bird seems to enjoy the warmth of the lake to its fullest. How lucky !!!

There are so many types of birds, nature truly is amazing.

I also think this might be a seagull. Great shot!

Yes, the consensus opinion is leaning toward it being a seagull.

I'm pretty sure it's a seagull, we are full of those at the sea here, they even steal food from your hand... This is slightly smaller but the colors and shape are the same

These ones here aren't that aggressive, although I didn't actually have any food in my hand, so I could be wrong.

Wow, the bird was standing there so quietly, enjoying the beauty of the universe around it.

Calm, cool, and collected. Just being a bird.

Looks like a seagull to me too. I bet a lot of birds migrate there for summer and head south as soon as it gets cold. Birds are amazing creatures able to use the earth's magnetic fields to navigate thousand of miles back and forth. Great pictures!

Well for me, I'd say black and white photography and color photography as it's own charm but it depends on the mood you want to convey. In my own opinion, black and white version can also evoke more nostalgic and artistic feel. That's my observation but anyway your pictures are both great and amazing.

Stunning shot. I think you're right about them being seagulls. They look like seagull, although I might be wrong
