Beauty in Destruction
Here we are on the trail to Bertha Falls, Waterton Park, Alberta. As mentioned previously, there was a fire that ripped through the area back in 2017; leaving scenes like this in its wake. Unfortunate to say the least, but there is also a certain beauty to behold as well, don’t you think? In time, the forest will be back to normal. Hopefully I will be around to see that happen. Have you experienced any forest fires in your area? Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you.
Your photos are very beautiful, but the first photo is a masterpiece created by your camera lens.
Appreciate the kind words!
I don't understand what you mean. Could you explain further?🙏🙏🙏
It is just "nice and respectful" way to say thank you.
Ok thanks🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😍
It's both fascinating and sad at the same time if you think what happened there... I wonder how long will take new trees to grow
We had this due to wind at 190km/h, they say It will take 100 years to recover the forest
That seems very long. Is someone clearing the fallen trees I wonder?
Yep, it took 2 years to clean the fallen trees, now they are still replacing them
I see.
Amazing photograph. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Nature is the best subject matter. Thanks.
Wow ooo very nice and beautiful environment. Yes of course the same do happen in my area where fire will got burnt everything in the forest, though it will still regenerate again.Dear your pictures are very beautiful and brightful.👍♥️
Thank you. I guess forest fires are all part of the ecosystem.
Exactly dear
Indeed, it has a kind of beauty. And, it will change over time to different kind of beauty!
Wonderful photograph!

Indeed, the wonderful ways of nature at work.
Beautiful Shots dear, and fire is the worst thing that can happen to such beautiful nature. In my country, on the Adriatic coast, fires are unfortunately already starting, and during the tourist season, partly due to people's carelessness, partly due to the high heat, fires of enormous proportions have been occurring for a few years now. Sometimes even citizens are in danger

Yes, I wish people/tourists were more careful when enjoying our outdoors. Thanks for the comment.
Although the wound is still visible, the spirit of nature to rise again is extraordinary. Even nature continues to radiate an amazing charm. The second picture is my favorite.
Indeed correct, thanks for dropping by as usual.
Until a few years ago, we lived on a small farm in the Valley of a Thousand Hills. And yes, we experienced some serious fires while living there. There was especially one devastating fire that we will never forget. But yes, when the new life starts showing signs again, it can be beautiful.
From what I am hearing on the news, fires are probably the least of your concerns over there. Stay safe, and thanks for stopping by.
Yes, you are right. Fires are the least of our concerns indeed!
Thank you. Have a great day.
Well I just wanna ask that this type of track are far from your house?? or you live in such type of nature?
No, I don't actually live around this place. Maybe someday though.
It's hard to believe that there was once a fire in this place, there's been a massive recovery over time. Such an incredible sight to behold.
It will still likely take a decade more or so, for it to return to the way it used to be. Thanks for looking.
It's fascinating to see how nature recovers. You did an amazing job in capturing this beautiful landscape 👏
Thank you @travelshots.
Actually on the Aleutian chain there is not a single tree in sight - because its too cold for the trees and winds can get up to 200km/h which completely wipes everything out. But thats just a normal thing you find out when sailing around the Aleutian Islands.
Looks quite depressing, but its all nature and at the end of the day we can't change anything.
Thank you for sharing;)
That is interesting. Never would have thought that!
There is always great beauty after a forest fire. The underbrush returns green as always and the new pine trees start to grow. A little known fact is that the heat of the fire cause pine coins to drop their seeds to repopulate after a fire. Pine trees are survivors! Such beautiful pictures, great job!
The cycle of life is a well oiled machine -- no I didn't know that. Thanks for that nugget of info!
Wow!! I love
Thanks.
Natural forest fires are just the forests restart button....
A decade or two later and it's even more beautiful 😍❤️
See how it has already started...
Love the colored pictures though, the dark burnt stalks mixed in with the green bushes is quite a sight..
Makes for some real incredible photos ops for sure, thanks for looking.
Lindos paisajes, como me gustaría visitar un lugar así...
Thank you.
In black and white, that is truly stark ... and devastating ... and in the clear signs of recovery, even more beautiful
Yes, beauty in destruction.
