Athabasca Pass Lookout

As we made our way southward down the Icefields Parkway, I decided to make an impromptu stop at the Athabasca Pass lookout. The views were so incredible. Mount Edith Cavell to the right, and in the first photo, Mount Kerkeslin, standing tall at 2,956m or 9,698ft. (Wanna climb that?) Some of the most popular hiking in Jasper National Park, can be found by Edith Cavell, including some great views of the Angel glacier, which I have posted a couple of years ago.

I think, standing from afar and looking at the view, it's almost impossible not to appreciate the height of that mountain, I think you did a great job by covering the angles from a distance, had to also check the coloured one for more clarity, wow. Amazing shot..
