Around Banff in Colour and Black & White

DSC08872.jpeg

A few photos here from around the Banff townsite area. (a bit or randomness today) In the first photo we have the iconic Cascade mountain, a prominent mountain visible from every street in town. In photo number two, we go back to Cascade ponds; with a view of some amazing snow capped mountains. When wandering around town, look who I ran into — a couple of Elk! Never know who or what you might find walking the streets. In picture four, the Bow river runs beside Rundle mountain, and then eastward toward Calgary. Thanks for stopping by.

Nice catch with the elk! They don't even seem to be afraid, rather pretty quiet and relaxing!

They are just used to being around people, that being said, I never get too close. Thanks to the zoom lens.

These are lovely pics bro..

The elk is my best one, the fact that they don't seem the least bit startled and I also like how the monochrome makes their bum looks even white😂😂✨

It seemed the deer had found its favorite restaurant, relaxing as it enjoyed every blade of grass. The view of the mountains and river remained beautiful and inviting.

Isn't it funny how elk, deer, and even moose feel perfectly at home wandering around the cities in the mountains? They know they that no one hurts them there so they come down looking for free food! lol

Cascade Mountain is a pretty one, I can see why you enjoy taking pictures of it. It's an impressive feature on the landscape. The water in the lake is so clear as well... I can see why you wouldn't mind moving back there to retire!

When is your trip to Banff coming up? It seems like it wasn't all that far off. Have a great day!
