Akamina lake with an iPhone 16 Pro

Lately I have been using the Sony A7R almost exclusively when out and about on the hiking trail. I felt that before I had or was taking an excessive amount of pics, too many in fact. So I made a conscious decision to scale it back. I am at the point now where I barely use the smartphone for any photography. At Akamina lake I made an exception and here is what I came up with. Photos taken inside Waterton Lakes park, Alberta. Thanks for stopping by, and hope your weekend is going well.

Camera: iPhone 16 Pro

cool views, and beautiful photos.
Thanks for stopping by.
What a spectacular forest that is and contemplating upgrading my A7R Mark 3 - love the Sony glass.
Time to dust my gear off and take some decent photos again, I’ve lapsed badly.
What are you thinking of upgrading to?
Not sure, will stick with the Sony range
Looks like the A7R 6 has just been released.
Nice 👍
Thanks.
Welcome🎉
Great pictures of that sitting area actually. I think this is the first time after a long time that you're shooting with the iPhone 16 pro.
Yes, I think from now on I will only use it sparingly. Like I was saying, just too many pictures to edit.
Thanks.
The photo is very beautiful; the water is very clear.
It was a nice short trip. Thanks.
Iphone pro & the photo grapher is a pro
