Afternoon in Banff

We headed out to Banff National Park today, and the weather was perfect for late Spring. I was debating whether or not to wear shorts — and shorts won out. It ended up being a good decision, as we saw some decent Spring highs and sunshine. Sunshine always makes the difference. At times it felt as though it were Summertime! In the first photo we Cascade Mountain, as seen from the walking bridge. In the second photo we have the iconic Banff Springs Hotel. In third we have a portion of Bow Falls and this crevass like tear in the rock face. Finally in the fourth, tree reflections in a pond. Thanks for stopping by.

Great first picture and that hotel looks collapsed lol
It was around 16°C or so. The hotel is just surrounded by trees is all.

Awesome place, I love the view in the first picture it's so beautiful, the long bridge that leads straight to the mountain. The dramatic atmosphere is more in the black and white version.

The iPhone 16 pro pictures looks very good especially with the radiant sunlight. I have an iPhone 12, and the picture still manages to stun in a great daylight. Love the shots of the houses on the mountain

Nice shots! I looks like it was a great day to be out in the mountains. The river didn't look too full so most of the big runoff has already happened, but I bet it's cold! Great job on the reflection, nicely done!
