Today I had the opportunity to walk to the old Thracian settlement of Aetos, now the town of Aytos. The weather was quite hot, close to 38 degrees, but that didn't stop us, at least for a few hours to enjoy the beautiful forest setting, history and hidden treasures. Bulgarians and Turks live in wonderful harmony, although years ago we were mortal enemies. Proof that despite differences, people can live together.

Complex "Genger"
Complex "Genger" is the architectural and ethnographic treasure of the town of Aitos. You have a chance to see ethnographic crafts, and the ancient buildings and the pleasant mountain forest setting make the experience even more unforgettable. The nature trail goes on, for several kilometers, unfortunately we didn't have a chance to get to the end because the heat was unbearable.
Town Garden
From 2019 to 2021, the town garden is renovated thanks to municipal project. Tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts are built, and the beautiful green spaces and wooden houses make it popular around families. At any time of the day, you may see young couples and pets happily running around. The two restaurants located within the garden are a wonderful place to dine with your family, enjoy the fresh air and wonderful cuisine.

suffer from the past, to long for the future, but to forget the present.

When it's 38 here in Australia we don't walk anywhere unless it's very early in the morning! The heat must be different. Love these photos and how you arranged them!
