My Weekend Inspiration

How did your weekend go
Mine was great ☺️
It wasn't as hectic as always and I had some time to rest.

So this weekend I went for prayers at church and on my way back I got into a tricycle so I could get home.
Now these tricycle riders usually wait for passengers to get into the tricycle depending on their location and when all the seats are occupied,they move.
Over the years it has been like this and usually, since there are so many tricycle riders looking for passengers, there's always a line up of tricycles for each rider waiting for his turn.
When I got in ,I sat with my friend for a while but no other passenger joined us.

We sat for about 15 minutes and I watched as the rider called out the route he was going to take so that any passenger who was going that way will join.
He called and called and called but it was still two of us .
My friend made a striking statement which I agreed with immediately.
" These men never give up or grow impatient,they wait till the tricycle is full before they move".
Most times a passenger would grow impatient and come down to go look for another tricycle but immediately they step down,the tricycle gets filled up by other passengers and most of the time it's no one's fault .

In this journey of life,many times we give up when we're so close to getting things done,we back out right at our peak of breakthrough,we lack perseverance and patience to carry on .
The Tricycle riders might seem like they don't have much to hold up, but their patience and their never give up spirit is one to emulate.
This is what inspired me over the weekend.
