I can't help but think about all of the good and bad things that have come from chat rooms over the years. I remember being a pre-teen and spending countless hours in chat rooms talking to strangers from all over the world. I loved the feeling of anonymity and being able to be whoever I wanted to be.
But looking back, I can also see how chatting has led to some not-so-great things in my life. I've made some bad decisions and said some things that I shouldn't have. I've also been the victim of cyberbullying.

While chatting can be both good and bad, I think the good definitely outweighs the bad. Chatting has helped me make some great friends, and I've even been able to find support in times of need. Overall, chatting has been a positive experience for me.

The Good: Chatting Helped Me Make Friends

I'm an introvert by nature, so making friends has never been easy for me. But I've found that chatting with people online has helped me break out of my shell and meet new friends. I've made friends from all over the world, and it's been so amazing to connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Chatting has also helped me become more confident and outgoing. I used to be really shy, but now I feel like I can talk to anyone. I'm also a lot better at networking because of my online chats. I've even met some of my best friends online, and I'm so grateful for that.

The Bad: Chatting Distracted Me from Friends

We've all been there - you're at a party or out with friends, and you get pulled into a conversation with someone you don't know all that well. And then, before you know it, you're chatting away and completely forgetting about the people you came with.

It's not necessarily a bad thing - after all, it's always good to meet new people. But if you find yourself constantly getting pulled into these types of conversations, it can be tough to balance maintaining old friendships and making new ones. So next time you're out with friends, try to be aware of how much time you're spending chatting with other people. That way, you can make sure you're still spending quality time with the people you came with.

To Wrap Things Up

In conclusion, chatting online has both its pros and its cons. On the plus side, it can be a great way to connect with friends and family. On the downside, it can be a huge time waster. To get the most out of chatting, be selective about who you chat with and set time limits for yourself.

One good conversation can forever shift the direction of change.

The benefits of chatting out weighs the bad, it all depends on our choice of action. But spending time on social media just looking for stranger to chat with is really a waste of time. 2go came out and made wave but now it's no more,

Haha it's a bit funny to know that the same chat that helped you make friends also made you get distracted from them.

Its a good thing you know this much about what chatting has done to you
