Hola, amigos de esta bonita comunidad. Este es mi primer post luego de estar ausente por un largo tiempo, pero realmente me encanta escribir y decidí volver a hacer lo que me gusta. Soy de Venezuela, pero hace 7 años me fui del país. Actualmente vivo en Cali, Colombia. La verdad es que me ha gustado bastante estar allá, aunque siempre extrañando mi casa y mi gente. Así que decidí viajar para volver a ver a mi familia y amigos luego de 1 año.
El viaje comenzó el 2 de enero. Tomé un vuelo desde Cali hasta Cúcuta, de allí crucé la frontera y tomé un carro que me dejó en San Cristóbal. Llegué y tuve que esperar unas horas, ya que los buses a mi ciudad, San Felipe, que es de donde soy, no salen constantemente. Luego de esperar horas, el bus salió a las 9 pm. Estaba muy emocionada por volver a ver a mi familia. Aunque casi todos los años vengo de visita, todos los años se siente como la primera vez que lo hice.
El viaje fue aproximadamente de 9 horas, las cuales se me pasaron bastante rápido. Ya a las 7 am estaba en mi ciudad. Me sentí muy ansiosa al bajar del bus. Estaba mi hermana y mi cuñado esperándome. Me dieron un fuerte abrazo y me llevaron a casa de mis papás. Todo fue muy lindo, realmente era algo que necesitaba. Yo trabajé todo el año fuertemente, sobre todo la temporada de navidad, me tocó muy fuerte en mi trabajo, hasta el punto de empezar a enfermarme. Así que decidí tomarme unas vacaciones, porque la salud mental y física vale más que cualquier cosa.
Ya ha pasado 1 mes y aún estoy disfrutando este regreso, compartiendo con mi familia, volviendo a reencontrarme con mis amigos, y se siente muy bonito. Creo que son momentos que te dan mucha recarga emocional. Dentro del viaje, he aprovechado de renovar mi cédula de identidad y mi pasaporte, el cual debo esperar unos días para que me lo entreguen.
Sin duda alguna, vivir estos momentos me da muchas fuerzas para seguir y nunca rendirme en las metas que me propongo. Mi familia siempre ha estado bastante unida, a pesar de la distancia, porque el amor siempre puede más que cualquier kilómetro.

Hello, friends of this wonderful community. This is my first post after being away for a long time, but I really love writing and decided to go back to doing what I enjoy. I'm from Venezuela, but I left the country seven years ago. I currently live in Cali, Colombia. The truth is that I've really enjoyed being there, although I always miss my home and my people. So I decided to travel back to see my family and friends after a year.
The trip began on January 2. I took a flight from Cali to Cúcuta, crossed the border there, and took a car that dropped me off in San Cristóbal. I arrived and had to wait a few hours, as buses to my hometown, San Felipe, where I am from, do not run regularly. After waiting for hours, the bus left at 9 pm. I was very excited to see my family again. Although I come to visit almost every year, every year feels like the first time I did it.
The trip took about nine hours, which went by pretty quickly. By 7 a.m., I was back in my hometown. I felt very anxious when I got off the bus. My sister and brother-in-law were waiting for me. They gave me a big hug and took me to my parents' house. Everything was very nice; it was really something I needed. I worked hard all year, especially during the Christmas season, and it took a heavy toll on me at work, to the point that I started to get sick. So I decided to take a vacation, because mental and physical health are worth more than anything else.
A month has already passed, and I am still enjoying this return, spending time with my family, reconnecting with my friends, and it feels really nice. I think these are moments that give you a lot of emotional recharge. During the trip, I took the opportunity to renew my ID card and passport, which I have to wait a few days to receive.
Without a doubt, experiencing these moments gives me the strength to keep going and never give up on the goals I set for myself. My family has always been very close, despite the distance, because love always conquers any distance.
