Hola amigos, espero que estén teniendo una linda semana. Hoy decidí salir un poco de la rutina y quedé con un amigo para hacer senderismo. En la ciudad de San Felipe, Yaracuy, Venezuela, donde vivo, hay un parque nacional cerca de casa que se llama Leonor Bernabo. Es muy conocido por su gran biodiversidad y sobre todo sus increíbles senderos que te hacen conectar bastante con la naturaleza, lo cual hace que sea un lugar muy relajante para pasar el día caminando y despejando la mente.
Desayunamos un poco antes de subir para estar activos. El sendero se compone de 4 miradores, el último no es recomendable subir sin un guía ya que es bastante arriba y se pierde un poco la noción del camino. Cuando iniciamos nuestra caminata, el día empezaba un poco oscuro, pero aún así decidimos seguir en el camino. Nos encontramos con muchas personas, algunas subiendo, otras ya venían de terminar su recorrido, ya que el parque abre a las 6:00 am y ya a esa hora muchas personas llegan puntuales para hacer su caminata diaria, lo que me parece muy admirable.
Entre cada mirador hay aproximadamente de 15 a 30 minutos para llegar. El recorrido tardamos aproximadamente hora y media para llegar, porque no subimos desde el punto inicial del sendero, sino que tomamos un pequeño atajo. Sin embargo, confieso que me cansé bastante, tenía mucho tiempo sin subir el sendero. Algunas subidas están bastante inclinadas, es un verdadero reto. Sin embargo, se logró llegar y cada que llegas al mirador sientes que valió la pena cada paso que diste.
El cielo estaba nublado cuando empezamos a subir el sendero, pero luego se despejó un poco. Sin embargo, algunas nubes nos taparon la vista increíble de la ciudad que se puede observar cada que se hace la caminata. Al bajar de regreso, decidimos ir al río que está saliendo del sendero, en todo el centro del parque. También me hice unas fotos. Pude notar que el parque está un poco abandonado, lo cual me dio un poco de nostalgia, ya que es un parque importante del estado.

Hello friends, I hope you are having a great week. Today I decided to break out of my routine a little and met up with a friend to go hiking. In the city of San Felipe, Yaracuy, Venezuela, where I live, there is a national park near my house called Leonor Bernabo. It is well known for its great biodiversity and, above all, its incredible trails that allow you to connect with nature, making it a very relaxing place to spend the day walking and clearing your mind.
We had breakfast a little before climbing to be active. The trail consists of four viewpoints, the last one is not recommended to climb without a guide as it is quite high up and you lose track of the path a little. When we started our hike, the day was a little dark, but we decided to continue on the trail anyway. We met many people, some going up, others already finishing their hike, as the park opens at 6:00 a.m. and many people arrive punctually at that time to do their daily walk, which I find very admirable.
It takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes to get from one viewpoint to the next. The hike took us about an hour and a half to complete because we didn't start at the beginning of the trail; instead, we took a small shortcut. However, I must admit that I got quite tired because it had been a long time since I had hiked the trail. Some of the climbs are quite steep, making it a real challenge. Nevertheless, we made it to the top, and every time you reach a viewpoint, you feel that every step you took was worth it.
The sky was cloudy when we started climbing the trail, but then it cleared up a bit. However, some clouds blocked our view of the incredible cityscape that can be seen every time you take the hike. On the way back down, we decided to go to the river that flows out of the trail, right in the center of the park. I also took some photos. I noticed that the park is a bit neglected, which made me feel a little nostalgic, since it is an important state park.

El estado Yaracuy tiene áreas verdes muy hermosas , tengo familia lejana que no veo hace años en Taría, la Peña, Salón, mi mamá era de Nirgua. Hay buenos ríos también. Saludos.
