Ethnic

Goodday hivers!! There are many ethnic groups in my country Nigeria but there three major ethics group which are hausa,igbo and the yoruba.
These ethnic groups have their different language,food,mode of dressing,beliefs, culture, tradition and ways of doing things
The hausa their king is known as emir and they are known for tuwo Shinkafa and for their dressing code the men wear a long flowing gown known as kaftan while their female while female while a wrapper (lien)tied around the waist with a blouse (bayi) and a headgear or veil .The yorubas know their king as kabeyisi and love amala and ewedu soup And the male are known for flowing gown known as agabada while female ties wrapper with blouse and head gear.The igbo culture (My tribe) is known for the pounded and soups like egusi,nsala, vegetables.We also know for iji mmri oku ( Hot water yam) made specially for new mothers who have just given birth.We also have local delicacies like akara (bean cake ) abacha (african salad) Asuruasuuka (Maize cake) and many more.Our men are known for the dress code of the isiagu shirt with wrapper (in the olden days) but now replaced by trousers and a fitting cap to fit.While the women tie george wrapper with blouse to fit with adorable beads to fit in.Igbo culture have beliefs as children are expected to respect their elders,we also believe in deities and spirit, reincarnation,chukwu orisa (The creator) and many more.
