The Moors and Christians festivities and the patron saint festivities in honor of the Virgin of the Assumption of Elche.
On the occasion of the festivities I spent the day in Elche and took some pictures for those who read me to have a vision of the city and encourage you to visit it.
Alicante and specifically Elche are full of festivities in the month of August, celebrating the festivities of Moors and Christians and the patron saint festivities in honor of the Virgin of the Assumption.
It becomes the zone of tourism and party during 10 days of August from the 3rd to the 15th of each year.
First I will show you the Basilica of Santa Maria, Our Lady of the Assumption.
Then La Fortaleza, Palacio de Altamira.
