On August 13 Elche celebrates the feast of the Nit del Alba, a tradition that dates back to the Middle Ages, in which families dedicate a rocket to the virgin for each child they have.

At eleven fifteen at night begins a spectacle of lights and colors, with hundreds of fireworks launched in a coordinated and alternating manner from the terraces of buildings in different parts of the city, impacting the senses of each attendee and evoking excitement and attention.
In the middle of the night, the best pyrotechnic fantasy you can imagine paints the sky.
This year I was there and took some pictures with my Minolta Digital camera.
