Haunted by the city of Bruges
This time I went to Belgium, specifically to the city of Bruges for a company convention and I take this opportunity to show you part of that city, a welcoming city that I liked very much and has nothing to envy to any other city in Europe.
It is a city of medieval buildings, churches, canals and bridges that have given it the nickname of being the Venice of the north. Its historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000.

I will start by showing you 2 pictures of the Church of Our Lady of Bruges.

This is an elegant 18th century mansion with its picturesque garden built over the Dijver canal.

This is a shot of the city at night while a moderate rain was falling.

Here I show one of the main streets of the city full of people, among that crowd is my family.

This is the Bruges Town Hall (Stadhuis van Brugge in Dutch) located on the Burg square. Built between 1376 and 1421

This is one of the many alleys of the city, the illumination stands out in it.

These two show from different positions the Canal Djiver, stands out The old hospital of St. John Founded in the mid-twelfth century.
All photos were taken with my Minolta Digital camera.
