Almost a day in Alicante
In this internal tour that has turned out to be my new job I went through Alicante, located on the Mediterranean coast, a city rich in cultural heritage but also with an air of modernity that produces an interesting mix for the visitor.
Unfortunately I could not climb the Castle of Santa Barbara, on another occasion I will, main fortress that dates back to the time of the Arabs and dominates from Mount Benacantil, 166 meters high, the city and the maritime horizon.
However I did take a night photo of it.
Next time I promise to take many more pictures.

I arrived at night and took this photo of the port of Alicante from its promenade and you can see the Castle of Santa Barbara at the top.

This is a pedestrian street of the city hall of Alicante.

On the day before going to the meeting planned by the company, reason for my visit and after breakfast, I took a couple of pictures on the way, this is the esplanade of the promenade, as I read is made up of wavy mosaic of more than 6 million tricolor marble tesserae, the effect certainly produces a strange sensation.

And this is from a street in Alicante, where you can see the combination of antiquity with modernity.
All of them taken with my Minolta Digital camera.
