When art and landscape cross paths [Esp/Eng]

Estamos empezando el mes de agosto, con él espero que vengan muchas cosas positivas, ya que tengo vacaciones y quiero que sean productivas. Hoy les traigo unas fotos que tomé hace un tiempo cuando me dirigía a La Asunción. En el camino, no pude evitar sacar mi celular para tomar algunas fotos porque pensé en compartirlas con ustedes.

Este suele ser un camino que recorro todos los días al ir a la universidad, pero en esta ocasión al ser de tarde, el sol se estaba ocultando, lo que dejaba ver el cielo de unos colores azules muy bonitos con tonos de naranja, a su vez acompañado de la montaña que fue lo que más me gustó del paisaje. Además, tuve la suerte de encontrarme con una escultura que luego al acercar la foto leí que se llamaba "Ave avizorando la ciudad", realizada en el año 2000 por el autor Humberto Cazorla. Es una figura abstracta pero este tipo de esculturas me encantan porque me hacen reflexionar sobre la creatividad de los artistas, así como lo espectacular que es dejar volar la imaginación y llenar nuestra ciudad de este singular arte. We’re beginning the month of August, and with it I’m hoping for many positive things, especially since I’m on vacation and want it to be a productive time. Today, I’m sharing a few photos I took a while ago on my way to La Asunción. Along the route, I couldn’t resist pulling out my phone to snap a few pictures because I thought of sharing them with all of you.

This is a road I travel every day on my way to university, but this time, since it was late in the afternoon, the sun was setting. The sky was painted in beautiful shades of blue mixed with orange tones, and the mountain scenery was what I loved most. I also happened to come across a sculpture that caught my eye. When I zoomed in to read the inscription, I saw it was titled “Bird Watching Over the City,” created in the year 2000 by Humberto Cazorla. It’s an abstract figure, but I adore these kinds of sculptures because they make me reflect on the creativity of artists, and just how amazing it is to let imagination soar and fill our city with such unique art.
