Visiting Best Value Hardware in search of the perfect toilet seat [Esp/Eng]

¡Hola a todos! Espero que hayan tenido un día muy bonito. Es un placer, como siempre, saludarlos.

Les cuento que hace días mi mamá dijo que quería comprar una tapa para una poceta de la casa, porque la que teníamos ya estaba muy fea. El detalle con comprar ese tipo de cosas es encontrar justo el tamaño ideal, por lo que hace unos días, luego de visitar Shine, vimos que había una ferretería cerca llamada Best Value. Así que entramos a ver si las vendían y a medirlas para ver si cumplían con el tamaño que necesitábamos.

Es una ferretería pequeña, pero muy bien surtida. Había un tanque de agua con una frase bonita: "Es fácil ser feliz". También vi una batea que a mi mamá le gustó, me hizo recordar la batea de mi abuela. Luego de dar unas vueltas por la tienda y ver algunas cosas, le pregunté a uno de los trabajadores si vendían tapas de pocetas, y me dijeron que sí, estaban en 24 $ y además me dio sus medidas, así que nosotras, al llegar a casa, las comparamos para ver si era lo que necesitábamos.

Notamos que eran un poco pequeñas, así que seguiremos buscando en otros lugares, de todas formas ya sabemos que aquí está esta opción. Gracias por acompañarme en esta pequeña aventura. ¡Nos vemos en un próximo post!

Let me tell you, some days ago my mom mentioned she wanted to buy a new toilet seat for the house because the one we had was already quite worn out. The tricky part with buying something like that is finding the exact right size. So a few days ago, after visiting Shine, we saw there was a hardware store nearby called Best Value. We decided to stop by and check if they sold them, and to take measurements to see if they matched what we needed.

It’s a small hardware store, but very well stocked. There was a water tank with a beautiful phrase on it: “It’s easy to be happy.” I also saw a basin that caught my mom’s attention, it reminded me of the one my grandmother used to have. After walking around and checking out some things, I asked one of the employees if they sold toilet seats, and he said yes, they were priced at $24 and he kindly gave me their measurements. That way, when we got home, we could compare and see if it would fit.

Turns out they were a little too small, so we'll keep searching elsewhere. Still, it's good to know we have this option. Thanks for joining me in this little adventure. See you in the next post!
