Una noche por la Calle Joaquín Maneiro [Esp/Eng]

Hola a toda la comunidad @hivemargarita, feliz de saludarlos. En esta oportunidad vengo a compartir un poco una experiencia que tuve este fin de semana caminando por la Calle Joaquín Maneiro de Pampatar. Todo comenzó porque quería dar un paseo por el Castillo San Carlos de Borromeo y observar los barcos que estaban en el muelle. Para nuestra sorpresa, todo estaba más full de lo normal, había muchísima gente, no solo porque era fin de semana, sino porque se estaba llevando a cabo una feria por esta calle, así que decidimos dar un paseo por Pampatar de noche y ver qué estaban haciendo. Hello to the entire @hivemargarita community, happy to greet you! This time I’d like to share a little experience I had over the weekend walking along Joaquín Maneiro Street in Pampatar. It all started because I wanted to visit the San Carlos de Borromeo Castle and watch the boats at the dock. To our surprise, the area was much busier than usual, not just because it was the weekend, but because a street fair was taking place. So we decided to take a nighttime stroll through Pampatar and see what was going on. Come along! 📷🌊🌴

El paseo comenzó en el Castillo, nunca creí que estaría abierto, pero sí. Me imagino que era por la temporada ya que por las festividades de La Virgen Del Valle vienen muchas personas de diferentes estados, entonces no dudamos en entrar y esa fue mi primera vez visitando el castillo de Pampatar de noche. Se sentía un ambiente diferente, muy alegre y con movimiento de personas. Subí y qué increíble vista pude apreciar, de verdad hermosa, el brillo de las luces reflejado en el mar, así como el sonido de las olas chocando con las piedras.

The walk began at the Castle, I never thought it would be open, but it was. I imagine it was due to the season, since many people from different states come for the festivities of La Virgen Del Valle. So we didn’t hesitate to go in, and it was my first time visiting the Pampatar Castle at night. The atmosphere felt different, lively and full of people. I climbed up and was amazed by the view: truly beautiful, with the lights shimmering on the sea and the sound of waves crashing against the rocks.

Luego fuimos a ver si todavía estaban los barcos 🚢. Solamente estaba uno, nos acercamos, y yo estaba un poco asustada porque todo estaba muy oscuro entonces me daba miedo caer al mar, pero fue bonito sentir la brisa de la playa de noche.

Then we went to see if the boats were still there 🚢. Only one remained. We approached it, and I was a bit scared because everything was so dark, I was afraid of falling into the sea. But it was lovely to feel the ocean breeze at night.

Regresamos para dirigirnos ahora a la feria que estaban haciendo, en el camino tomé estas fotos de la plaza de Pampatar, también otra plaza más pequeña que se llama Plaza La Municipalidad y todo fue un camino muy alegre, las personas se veían contentas y eso es algo bueno.

We headed back to check out the fair that was happening. On the way, I took some photos of Pampatar’s main square, and also of a smaller one called Plaza La Municipalidad. The whole walk was cheerful, people looked happy, and that’s always a good thing.

El primer puesto de la feria que observé fue este, tenía ese cuadro para tomarse fotos y la señora nos lo prestó muy amablemente. Como pueden ver ofrecían carteras y artículos hechos con cogollo, además pinturas y recuerditos de la virgen.

The first booth I saw at the fair had a photo frame, and the lady kindly let us use it. As you can see, they offered handbags and items made with palm fiber, as well as paintings and little souvenirs of the Virgin.

Seguidamente vimos este gran mural que llamaba la atención para pasar a La Tiendita, un local de comida ubicado en esta calle que se ve muy acogedor.

Next, we saw a large mural that caught our attention and led us to La Tiendita, a cozy little food spot located on this street.

Luego llegamos donde estaba más gente, muchos puestos de emprendedores y hasta música en vivo. Todos los emprendimientos tenías cosas hermosas, flores de crochet, amigurumis, bolsos, carteras, accesorios, ropa, dibujos, pinturas y mucho más.

Then we reached the busiest part, with many vendor booths and even live music. All the entrepreneurs had beautiful creations, crochet flowers, amigurumis, bags, purses, accessories, clothing, drawings, paintings, and much more.

Me encantó poder dar una vuelta por la Calle Joaquín Maneiro de noche porque nunca había ido a esa hora y a la vez disfrutar de ese evento sin esperarlo. Espero que les haya gustado poder ver un poco de esta zona, hasta la próxima. 📷🌴🌟
