A visit to Shine Boutique✨[Esp/Eng]

La tienda Bridal Room Boutique, que les había mostrado hace un tiempo, tuvo que cerrar sus puertas. Por suerte, no será un adiós definitivo, sino un hasta pronto. La tienda ya no estará en La Vela, sino que reabrirá en el centro comercial Rattan Plaza. Fue una noticia que me sorprendió bastante, ya que mi mamá y yo estábamos acostumbradas a la rutina diaria de ir a La Vela. Sin embargo, Rattan nos queda más cerca de casa y pensamos que será más rápido llegar, especialmente porque solemos estar con el tiempo justo para las citas.

Bridal Room Boutique, the shop I showed you a while ago, had to close its doors. Fortunately, it’s not a goodbye, just a “see you soon.” It’s no longer located in La Vela, but will reopen in the Rattan Plaza shopping center. The news really surprised me, since my mom and I had gotten used to our daily routine of visiting La Vela. However, Rattan is closer to home, and we think it’ll be quicker to get there, especially since we’re usually rushing to be on time for our appointments.

Mientras tanto, las citas se están realizando en otra tienda, también ubicada en Rattan, llamada Shine Boutique. Hoy quiero contarles un poco sobre mis primeras impresiones de este nuevo espacio y cómo ha sido adaptarnos al cambio.

In the meantime, appointments are being held at another store in Rattan called Shine Boutique. So today, I’d like to share my first impressions of this new space and how we’ve been adjusting to the change.

Lo primero que noté es que es una tienda muy linda, bien distribuida y con un ambiente muy fresco. La ropa es súper bonita, es el estilo que me gusta, relajado, chic y casual. No solo cuentan con prendas de vestir, sino que también ofrecen accesorios, calzado y hasta una sección de maquillaje, cuidado personal y perfumes.

The first thing I noticed is that the store is really lovely, well laid out and with a fresh, airy vibe. The clothing is super pretty and reflects the style I love, relaxed, chic, and casual. They don’t just offer clothes, they also have accessories, shoes, and even a section for makeup, personal care, and perfumes.

Al llegar, organicé junto a mi mamá los vestidos que debíamos medir a las clientas. Mientras las esperábamos, di un vistazo por la tienda y me llamaron la atencion estas franelas, especialmente sus estampados, miren que bellos, perfectos para usar en Margarita. Tambien la colección de sandalias me encataron, bueno en realidad todo me encantó.

When we arrived, my mom and I organized the dresses we needed to have the clients try on. While we waited for them, I took a look around the store and was drawn to these t-shirts, especially the prints. They were so beautiful and absolutely perfect to wear in Margarita. I also loved the sandal collection… well, honestly, everything was lovely.

Hay opciones no solo para el día, sino también para ocasiones especiales en la noche, como los vestidos negros y carteras con brillos.

They have options not only for daytime wear but also for evening occasions, like black dresses and sparkly clutches.

En la sección de cuidado personal, el maquillaje era de marcas reconocidas y de buena calidad. Todo estaba bien organizado y se notaba que eran productos originales que no se consiguen fácilmente en la isla, igual que los perfumes y productos capilares. Descubrí una marca de shampoo que nunca había visto antes llamada Ritual Botánico, que conocía solo por internet y según lo que he oído, es muy buena para el cabello.

In the personal care section, the makeup was from well-known, high-quality brands. Everything was neatly arranged and clearly authentic, products that aren’t easy to find on the island, along with perfumes and hair products. I discovered a shampoo brand I’d never seen before called Ritual Botánico, which I knew only from the internet, and I’ve heard it’s very good for the hair.

Cuando llegaron las clientas nos fuimos al area de probadores para medirles sus vestidos. Debo admitir que extrañé mucho el vestier de Bridal, nada como su espejo gigante y gran espacio donde podíamos medir cómodamente, los de esta tienda no estan diseñados para vestidos tan grandes, por lo que resultaba un poco incómodo, aún así nos la ingeniamos para poder medir todo. Shine Boutique tiene mucho movimiento de personas, constantemente entrando y saliendo, algo muy distinto al ambiente más tranquilo de Bridal, que era más reservado.

When the clients arrived, we headed to the fitting area to try on the dresses. I have to admit, I really missed the dressing room at Bridal Room. Nothing beats its huge mirror and spacious area that allowed us to fit the dresses comfortably. This store’s fitting rooms weren’t designed for such large gowns, which made things a bit tricky, but we managed. Shine Boutique has a lot of foot traffic, with people constantly coming and going. It’s quite different from Bridal, which had a calmer and more private atmosphere.

Cuando nos fuimos, mi mamá y yo llegamos a la misma conclusión de que nada como Bridal. Esta nueva tienda es muy bonita, pero la costumbre de tantos días en Bridal hace que la extrañemos. Aun así, siempre es bueno salir de la zona de confort. Tal vez solo nos sentimos algo extrañas por el cambio de rutina. Bueno chicos, esto fue todo por hoy, espero que les haya gustado esta pequeña aventura. Hasta la proxima.

When we left, my mom and I agreed that Bridal will always be special. This new store is very beautiful, but after so many days spent at Bridal, it’s only natural that we miss it. Still, it’s good to step outside of our comfort zone. Maybe it’s just that we feel a little out of place because we’re so used to our old routine.
