Me he vuelto una fanática de salir a tomar fotografías de las calles que pertenecen a ésta isla y, también del cielo. Sin importar la simpleza de la imagen en sí misma, siento que tiene ese característico ''je ne sais quoi'' que me mantiene hechizada admirando los detalles de la cotidianidad de un pueblo.

Además de que todo adquiere un matiz mucho más mágico con éste filtro que, sin duda alguna, le da una característica muy especial a la imagen.

La isla es un lugar muy pequeño, de hecho, si te propones a recorrerla en un día lo lograrías sin lugar a dudas (con ayuda de un auto claro); así que acostumbrarse a sus calles es algo natural porque sueles recorrerlas a diario. No es tanto como la inmensidad de una ciudad a la cuál debes dedicarle quizás muchos más día para conocerla en su totalidad.

Así que es muy fácil que llegues a perderle admiración a los lugares que ves de forma constante, porque claro, te acostumbras a ello. Es por eso, que me gusta salir a tomar fotos de cualquier cosa que se cruce en mi camino, sea una hilera de carros estacionados, o el sol asomándose entre una espesa capa de nubes, buscando ese toque especial que me induce a la fascinación para así no caer en la costumbre y dejarlos pasar.

Recuerdo una vez haber leído en algún lugar que, la mejor forma de ver a la vida es a través de la mirada de un turista, fascinado de manera constante con los regalos del día a día. Es una bonita forma de meditar y de mantenerse presente, admirando los lugares sin importar la frecuencia de nuestras visitas.

I have become a fan of going out to take pictures of the streets that belong to this island and also of the sky. Regardless of the simplicity of the image itself, I feel it has that characteristic ''je ne sais quoi'' that keeps me spellbound admiring the details of the daily life of a people.

Besides, everything acquires a much more magical nuance with this filter that, without a doubt, gives a very special characteristic to the image.

The island is a very small place, in fact, if you set out to visit it in one day you would undoubtedly make it (with the help of a car of course); so getting used to its streets is something natural because you usually go through them every day. It is not as much as the immensity of a city to which you should dedicate perhaps many more days to get to know it in its entirety.

So it is very easy to lose admiration for the places you see constantly, because of course, you get used to it. That's why I like to go out and take pictures of anything that crosses my path, be it a row of parked cars, or the sun peeking through a thick layer of clouds, looking for that special touch that induces me to fascination so I don't fall into the habit and let them pass by.

I remember once reading somewhere that the best way to see life is through the eyes of a tourist, constantly fascinated by the gifts of everyday life. It's a nice way to meditate and stay present, admiring places no matter how often we visit.
