Nature Vibes & a Shared Board 🛹🌿

Hey Hive, Liketu, and Skatehive fam!
Today I’m stoked to share some fun and meaningful moments from a very special skate session—this time, it was my girlfriend’s turn to step onto the board. We’re in the early stages of her skateboarding journey, and teaching her (or at least trying to!) has been a blast. We even rode together on the same board—maybe this will finally convince her to get her own little deck soon 😄

To make things smoother for her, we headed out much earlier than usual—around 11:00 AM—to catch the skatepark empty. She’s still a bit shy about skating with a crowd, especially when kids are running around nearby. And wow, the vibe was totally different. We missed the energy of our fellow skater friends (you know how it is in Venezuela—always good vibes), but the upside was clear: we got some awesome photos of the park.

These shots are more detailed than usual, focusing on the bowl, the rails, and even a wide-angle view during our break that captures the park’s deep connection with nature. It’s honestly one of the most relaxing spots to skate and reflect.

Even with my ankle still a bit sore, I couldn’t resist hitting a few ramps. A couple of backside moves and some ollies helped loosen things up—skating always finds a way to heal.

Hoy quiero compartirles unas fotos divertidas y significativas de una sesión muy especial—esta vez le tocó a mi novia subirse a la tabla. Está comenzando su camino en el skateboarding, y enseñarla (o al menos intentarlo) ha sido muy divertido. Incluso patinamos juntos en la misma patineta… quizás esto la convenza de tener su propia tablita pronto 😄

Para que se sintiera más cómoda, decidimos irnos mucho más temprano—como a las 11:00 AM—y así encontrar el skatepark vacío. Todavía le da algo de miedo empezar con mucha gente alrededor, especialmente con niños jugando cerca. Y sí que se sintió diferente el parque solo. Extrañamos la buena vibra de los panas skaters (como decimos en Venezuela), pero también tuvo su lado positivo: pudimos tomar unas fotos buenísimas del parque.

Estas imágenes son más específicas, mostrando secciones del bowl, los rieles, y una toma bien alejada durante nuestro descanso que muestra la conexión con la naturaleza. Este parque tiene algo especial, es realmente relajante.

A pesar de que mi tobillo sigue un poco adolorido, no pude resistirme a practicar en algunas rampas. Un par de backside y unos ollies para ir soltando los tendones—el skate siempre encuentra la forma de sanar.
