I say asses like she has two. It's the only time I say it plural—ass. Not sure why that is. Less aggressive, I guess. When we fight I don't say who wants to get their ass kicked, it's who wants to get their asses kicked! She's a real sharp dog—picks up on my slang quick. Proper English is so hostile.

I've been teaching her how to drive, too, now she thinks she's a horse. Only when there's no traffic, of course, I'm not crazy. She's not ready for the open road yet anyway but loves it when I stick my head out the window. Pura says she can hear her laughing her asses off all the way at the edge of the property.
