Los acuarios son esos planes que nunca haces pero que al final, siendo improvisado, es la mejor decisión. Revives tu niño interior y empiezas a apreciar aun más todas las cosas relacionadas con el mar, las especies, hay un mundo inmenso aun sin descubrir del todo, no eres el único en este planeta y conocer un poco sobre animales y vidas marítimas siempre será interesante.

Hello queridos amigos, en este post tengo la dicha y la emoción de mostrarles algunas fotos que tomé en mi visita al Acuario de Gijón. Es un lugar muy interesante y al estar en el centro de la Ciudad tienes acceso muy rápido aunque seas turista, para ir sí o sí, no puedes perderte conocerlo.

La verdad de esto no hay mucho que decir, las fotos no le hacen justicia a lo que vives cuando los ves en persona. El BIOPARC Acuario de Gijón tiene mas de 4000 especies marinas con las que puedes interactuar, muchísima información para leer sobre cada una de ellas, también tiene poca afluencia de personas por lo que el tour se hace ameno y puedes mirar, leer y disfrutar con calma cada estación.

Hello dear friends, in this post I am delighted and excited to show you some photos I took during my visit to the Gijón Aquarium. It is a very interesting place and, being in the center of the city, it is very easy to get to, even if you are a tourist. You simply must visit it, you cannot miss it.

The truth is that there is not much to say, the photos do not do justice to what you experience when you see them in person. The BIOPARC Aquarium in Gijón has more than 4,000 marine species that you can interact with, lots of information to read about each one, and it's not very crowded, so the tour is enjoyable and you can look, read, and enjoy each station at your own pace.

Empiezas mirando algunos peces, te encuentras especies muy extrañas y que no sabías siquiera que podían existir .

You start by looking at some fish, and you find very strange species that you didn't even know could exist.

Este era una especia de ventana donde podías mirar más de cerca algunos peces, te daba la sensación de estar dentro con ellos.

This was a kind of window where you could get a closer look at some fish, giving you the feeling of being inside with them.

Sus mostradores eran bastante grandes y podías apreciar bien los detalles y tamaños estaban algunos mezclados lo que me hace pensar que la convivencia entre las distintas especies sí puede existir.

Their counters were quite large, and you could clearly see the details and sizes. Some were mixed together, which makes me think that different species can indeed coexist.

Una de mis favoritas fueron estas, Medusas. 💕 / One of my favorites, Jellyfish.💕

Esto me parecio super genial ya que tienes a contraluz como es por dentro un huevo de una raya y el huevo de un tiburón.

I thought this was really cool because you can see the inside of a stingray egg and a shark egg against the light.

Esto posiblemente fue lo más tierno que pude observar. El AJOLOTE parece una caricatura de mentira, la verdad cuando empiezas a leer sobre ellos le temes un poco, ya con leer que es carnívoro me dio terror jaja aunque su color y cara parezca de lo más tierno que hayas podido ver. No son peligrosos para el ser humano aunque sí que está en peligro de extinción y también leí que son un poco torpes y pueden llegar a ahogarse por comer piedras jaja.

This was possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. The AJOLOTE looks like a cartoon character, but when you start reading about them, you get a little scared. Just reading that they're carnivores terrified me, haha, even though their color and face look like the cutest thing you've ever seen. They are not dangerous to humans, although they are endangered, and I also read that they are a bit clumsy and can drown by eating stones, haha.

Aquí estábamos observando algunas arañas. / Here we were looking some spiders.🕷

También había muchísima información sobre hongos y piedras preciosas, por qué tenían ese color y que los hongos muchas veces teniendo un color llamativo por mas hermoso que fuera podía ser venenoso.

There was also a lot of information about mushrooms and precious stones, why they had that color, and that mushrooms often had a striking color, but no matter how beautiful they were, they could be poisonous.

Fármacos/drogas que fueron principalmente ensayadas naturalmente, muchas para revertir envenenamientos de algunas especies marinas, serpientes, arañas, etc.

Muchos animales nos costaban identificarlos ya que se camuflajean con el medio donde estaban.👀 / Many animals were difficult for us to identify because they blend in with their surroundings. 👀

En esta fotografía muestra claramente como se ve el océano contaminado, es un excelente incentivo para la iniciativa de cuidar nuestras playas o ríos, luego de ver cada especie y su habita fue un poco triste ver todo el plástico que podemos llegar a consumir porque sabemos exactamente que no siempre es reciclado.

This photograph clearly shows how polluted the ocean looks. It is an excellent incentive for the initiative to take care of our beaches and rivers. After seeing each species and its habitat, it was a little sad to see all the plastic that we consume, because we know that it is not always recycled.

Esta fotografía la deje para el final, y aunque no se puede apreciar bien era una pared entera con la vista hacia dentro del Acuario, podías observar muchas especies de peces juntos, habían tiburones que medían casi 3 metros, rayas, tortugas GIGANTES, peces globos y entre otros. Esta fue una de las paradas más pausadas que hicimos porque fue un momento demasiado genial, sentías calma pero a la vez miedo, intriga, muchos sentimientos juntos.

I saved this photo for last, and although you can't see it very well, it was an entire wall looking into the aquarium. You could see many species of fish together, including sharks measuring almost 3 meters, rays, GIANT turtles, puffer fish, and others. This was one of the longest stops we made because it was such an amazing moment. You felt calm but at the same time scared, intrigued—many feelings all at once.

Ya al salir de todo el tour te encuentras una tienda con muchísimas cosas referentes al acuario. Podías estar ahí horas viendo y queriendo llevarte todo. Nosotros compramos una tortuguita azul porque fue lo que más nos encantó del acuario y honestamente me encantó todo, la experiencia, el momento, la información y es que te desconectas y empiezas a navegar en este mundo. Fueron solo 20 euros por persona y puedes estar el tiempo que quieras.

Ya al salir de todo el tour te encuentras una tienda con muchísimas cosas referentes al acuario. Podías estar ahí horas viendo y queriendo llevarte todo. Nosotros compramos una tortuguita azul porque fue lo que más nos encantó del acuario y honestamente me encantó todo, la experiencia, el momento, la información y es que te desconectas y empiezas a navegar en este mundo. Fueron solo 20 euros por persona y puedes estar el tiempo que quieras.
