Hola gente, les escribo directamente desde la Ciudad más bonita de Asturias, tendremos algunos post de lugares nuevos que he estado conociendo y me muero de ganas de escribir lo divino que la pasé en estos 4 días. Aunque fueron pocos días visitamos varios lugares los cuales me dejaron enamorada ya que soy muy fan de pueblitos, naturaleza, animales y además que el clima estaba a mi favor, entonces no hacía calor ya que que estábamos en el norte de España.

Hello everyone, I’m writing to you directly from the most beautiful city in Asturias. We will have some posts about new places I have been discovering, and I’m eager to write about how wonderful my four days there were. Although it was only a few days, we visited several places that I fell in love with, as I'm a big fan of small towns, nature, and animals. Plus, the weather was on my side, as it wasn't hot and we were in northern Spain.

Nuestra primera parada fue en Oviedo, estuvimos un par de horas pero para luego tomar un bus que nos llevaría al primer destino, Cangas de Onis, es un pueblo súper bonito y aunque literalmente tiene solo 2 calles, está lleno de turismo, gente bonita, planes que incluyen full la naturaleza y los fines de semana hacen ferias y mercados para sus pocos habitantes.

Our first stop was in Oviedo, where we spent a couple of hours before taking a bus to our first destination, Cangas de Onís. It's a really pretty town, and although it literally has only two streets, it's full of tourists, beautiful people, and activities that include plenty of nature. On weekends, they hold fairs and markets for their few inhabitants.

Literalmente cuando digo que tiene 2 calles es porque puedes recorrer todo el pueblo en 1 día, las casas son muy fotografiables y me recordaron mucho a las de los cuentos de hadas ya que tienen su jardín, árboles, animales y todas con colores vivos y llamativos. El clima a pesar de estar nublado y se veía todo gris no le quitó el encanto que tiene esta hermoso pueblo.

When I say it has two streets, I mean that you can walk around the entire town in one day. The houses are very photogenic and reminded me a lot of fairy tales, as they have gardens, trees, animals, and are all brightly colored. Even though it was cloudy and everything looked gray, it didn't take away from the charm of this beautiful town.

Tiene una iglesia muy linda, en honor a Santa Maria de la Asunción, queda en la Avenida Covadonga, la cual tiene también un monumento en honor a Don Pelayo el primer rey de Asturias y el que encuentras en casi todas partes, y en ella también una estatua de una anciana asturiana que no tiene tanta relevancia pero si adorna muy bien cerca de esta iglesia.

It has a beautiful church dedicated to Santa Maria de la Asunción, located on Avenida Covadonga, which also has a monument dedicated to Don Pelayo, the first king of Asturias, who can be found almost everywhere. There is also a statue of an elderly Asturian woman, which is not particularly significant but looks very nice near this church.
