A GREAT SCAPE: BBQ in cold mountains 🐴❄️🏔

Continuing with the adventure, the cooking school has organized a trip and took us on an excursion to a cold and colonial place located north of Madrid. #Rascafria is called this place, where at 13 Degrees and for 30 minutes we had to walk to get where they would teach and show us EVERYTHING about #meat .

We arrived at a huge field where we saw many cows 🐮, calves and they told us and teach us about their breeds, crosses, grazing and the whole process to slaughter them, sew them correctly and their respected cold chain, until they are finally presentable and ready for sale🍖.

It is a small town so i took the opportunity to learn a little of its history and take some nice pictures📸, I loved its colonial style although the atmosphere was a bit sad, but it is actually a very curious place, old and full of old people who transmitted a lot of tranquility. 🌬 I know where I want to live when I retire haha.

On the way we saw horses walking around🐴, some of them let themselves be touched and continuing with the tour, we arrived at a place where there was a great #barbacoa. We had the opportunity to eat from the same meat that they chopped to show us the different cuts 🍔 There were plenty of burgers for everyone.
Unfortunately it started to rain and our day had come to this point, the bus came for us to return to our homes happy, with a full stomach and a lot of knowledge as well😊.

Rascafría is a very small village in the Sierra de Guadarrama is located 100 kilometers north of Madrid and has approximately 1100 meters of altitude, in the Lozoya Valley is one of the natural jewels of the Madrid region.
