Scottish Wild Flowers and Scenarios With 'Individual Emotions and Personalities' on HIVE by Danaidh B
As a nature lover and art lover, I see that 'Art is Everything and Everything is Art' and 'Nature is Everywhere and Everywhere is Nature'.
I like to highlight natures individuality and personality and let my mind wander on what the subject in the picture looks like it may be experiencing or feeling.
Plants and animals can feel just like us but in their own ways. They have survival tactics and defence mechanisms we could only read of in comic books and see in fantasy movies.
Nature is making a comeback with a strong urban dialect and persistency for survival in anywhere it can find a home.
I love plants, just look at these flowers up close here, aren't they spectacular?? Ive only taken this on a small digital camera but for me it's almost as if I can see and hear what they are feeling sometimes. Some are happy and some are sad, or maybe thats just how it makes me feel when I look at them.
Do you feel emotionally provoked by flowers?? They say a lot if you look for long enough.
I have been photographing plants and flowers and more for around 3 years consistently when I can, and it never gets tiring! I am lucky where I live to have such nice walks to go on where my keen eye is never at rest looking for another photo opportunity to snap up!
This tree is beautifully gnarly and twisted, if only there was a time-lapse on it its whole life, we would have seen what gave it this painful looking twist!
Just some grotesque looking jellyfish close-up here. It looks like something from a horror or alien movie! Freaky!!!
This ship is certainly not natural but it sure is individual and has heaps of personality. This site is now demolished and is currently a site for shipping wind turbines out to offshore wind farms.
This last one here is my personal favourite, I shot this the other day when I was out on a walk and 'photo opportunity hunt' with @celticheartbeat in Caird Park, Dundee, Scotland, UK @teamuk and I seen a Baby Pine Tree has found its way into the base (about 6ft up) where it separates into branches of this Silver Birch Tree. It looks like a miniature world at the bottom of some very huge birch trees!
Thank you very much for viewing my photos!
