Pareidolia - Old Souls and Faces - Shadow Hunters #263

Hey @shadowhunters community, it’s Danaidh B here from Scotland.

I don’t know about You!, but… I constantly experience ‘Pareidolia’ which is basically seeing faces and objects in things that wouldn’t usually have faces or objects in them.

Just look at these old tree beards here.
This one looks like it’s sticking its tongue out.

(If you don’t see them, don’t worry you’re not crazy!! I’m probably crazy 😜 haha)

It really takes an artists eye to see faces in things all the time and recognise and document it, but with just a few handy filters just from my old iPhone 7 (which I use for some posts) I have enhanced it to help you see deeply what I see and feel.
So hopefully it helps you see the Pareidolia that I always see and it shows off its best features.

Tree faces are everywhere and I see the souls of old faces, and the faces of old souls.

Some of these are quite grim and morbid? This one looks like a sad skull stuck in a tree

This shadow hunters contest is really encouraging me to get back into photography and nature “at its best” appreciated intrinsically by me the artist and hopefully I am mutually reciprocated and by nature itself.

This last one is a shot of a Jay in mid-flight coming out of a tree after it spotted me taking a picture, I put some cool effects on it to enhance the beauty and power of the idea that I wanted to see, before I shot it.
