My Misty Morning Walk in the “Thick and Mystical Fog” that Engulfs My Local Park
Hello! and Greetings! @amazingnature community, nature lovers and nature appreciators 🙏

So the other day I didn’t really feel like going out because the weather from the window looked so bad and dreary, but duty calls to the dog and her business! So I made my way outside to the lurking, eery mist and fog then was quite surprised at how warm it was.
This park is an old quarry that was repurposed into a public park in 1862 in Dundee-Scotland by a rich flax mill owning family.
The path you see here in this park is called the “desire path” which was hidden by this fog making it look long and endless, and quite eery as if I was walking into impending doom!(Not so desirable)
You can just make out a vague tree line in the distance which is promising! :)
The dog (Shirley) is wondering what I’m doing? “Why did you stop?? Where’s the park gone??? Where’s my ball??”
This is the main pavilion in the park which is looking fantastic peeking through the fog and mist.
I do apologise - my phone camera has a tiny-tiny scratch on the lense making a tiny little black floater on some of my shots which is really frustrating at times. (I need an upgrade!)
Looks very appealing and quite aesthetic fitting in quite typically with my country - Scotland, a lot of Scotland usually looks like this and is very mysterious and intriguing.
I walked round the side and up the hill a bit to get a peeking glimpse of what looks like a far away land with a castle on the peak, again; just so mystical and awe inspiring. This scene would make an amazing watercolour painting.
The Gorse bushes are really making this photo extra appealing to me, also these amazing bright yellow flowers smell incredible like coconut biscuits and lemon sugar icing or something, it’s very unique and inviting to have these flowering bushes in bloom pretty much most of the year through.
Wow, this mini forest looks like it is away to burst into life with fairies, pixies and mythical creatures. I was truly astounded at every corner I turned in the park giving me lots of photo opportunities and mind enhancing scenarios!
Here is a creature appearing now.
If you look carefully you can see some quite rare flowers - “Snakes Head” or Fritillaria meleagris they have drooping:hanging flowers with chequered and almost kaleidoscope patterns on the inside and out. Probably one of my favourite plants ever!!!
The trees are serving a very aesthetic purpose for me here by contrasting the fog with their fractal silhouettes and shadows. I love trees! And fractal images especially. :)
The whole of the rest of the day was like this, thick fog/mist/haar made everything completely vanish and became a little disorientating but I liked the fresh sense of wonder in my local park, I am used to the mundane same old-same old, but that day I really enjoyed it a lot more than usual.
On my way out I spotted a grey squirrel running away from my dog sniffing around and trying to climb the wall to get it!
I hope you enjoyed my “misty morning walk” photos and inspirational thoughts and glimpses. Please have a lovely day and I also hope these gloomy, eery and quite dull photos don’t make you feel too cold and wet and doom-like.** 😂 LOL
Please feel free to reblog and share with your followers :)
