A SUNDAY AT AN ANIME CONVENTION

good night friends of #weekendexperiences I had not posted before in this community I just found it a couple of days ago and I decided to leave it to post what was my experience this Sunday that just happened at an anime convention near where I live

Sundays are extremely lazy days to put it in some way where I live, they are rest days and many times transportation becomes somewhat difficult and some businesses work less time than in the week or on Saturdays, so I prepared myself for this. and everything went well, except for some things that were due to rainy weather

My goals for Sunday were clear:

• first participate in the drawing competition and win (which I did not manage to be in third place)

• second take good pictures

• third pass the time and maybe buy something for myself

As for the first thing on the list, despite having achieved a good result, I was ranked 3rd, something that I did not understand much, at least he should have been second, but the one who should have been third was not anywhere, but well, strange things about competitions

Even so, I was very satisfied with the 100% original work that I did without seeing any support material and that in half the time of the competition (by the way, you can see my post on the illustration process in my profile)

As for photos I could not take many since the rain complicated this a bit since it was almost all outdoors except for some sections and the heat of the day did not help much, but the ones I took were these after finishing the drawing competition

Apart from the fact that I met a cosplayer who contacted me before the event and I made a drawing of her original character and we took a photo with and without the drawing (with the drawing I will go to a special post on the process of said drawing)

In fact, I give the event a 7.5/10, some things that were not anyone's fault, such as the rain and the other, the unknown reasons why I was third and who should have been third did not receive anything but even so, the prize was good and Maybe in the next occasion I will go and participate again but asking more about the contest guidelines and maybe I will understand the evaluation a little more, otherwise it was a good day, I really wanted more photos but the cosplayers were a bit uncomfortable because of the heat but in the end it will be time to wait for a new weekend for a new event
