¡Hola comunidad Pob! Que gusto me da poder saludarlos y a la vez participar en el POBphotocontest en su nueva Ronda: VERDE. Gracias a @friendlymoose por invitarnos siempre a participar. En esta oportunidad les una hoja muy peculiar de una plantita corazón herido, tambien conocida por otros nombres como: paleta de pintor u oreja de elefante, cuyo nombre científico es, Caladiun bicolor.

In this opportunity I will show you a very peculiar leaf of a wounded heart plant, also known by other names such as: painter's palette or elephant ear, whose scientific name is Caladiun bicolor.

Es una planta ornamental, utilizada para adornar jardines y espacios interiores, sus hojas en forma de corazón son muy vistosas, generalmente son todas verdes con manchas, a menudo blancas, rojas rosadas o moradas. Son plantas tóxicas, si se ingieren pueden causar hinchazón en los ojos, vómitos y diarrea, es por eso que hay que mantenerlas alejadas de los niños.

It is an ornamental plant, used to decorate gardens and interior spaces, its heart-shaped leaves are very showy, they are usually all green with spots, often white, pinkish red or purple. They are toxic plants, if ingested they can cause swollen eyes, vomiting and diarrhea, that is why they should be kept away from children.
