Curiosities of a coffee shop

. Portada.jpg

Hello, friends of Cinnamon Cup Coffee. I am still on vacation in Spain and I received a nice invitation from a niece to visit Prague for four days, during which I had the opportunity to visit some coffee, enjoy their coffees and savor delicious pastries. Today I bring you a coffee shop that caused me a lot of curiosity.

On my third day in the city I went out alone with my niece, since her daughters started the school year and her husband went to work, after visiting several places, walking and walking, Paula invites me to have a coffee and as if it were casual she takes me to a coffee shop that we had very close.

The facade is not spectacularly attractive, however from the moment I entered it gave me a nice, cozy feeling and with some windows that invite the palate.

After ordering what we wanted at the bar, we looked for a place to sit, we chose a table facing the entrance, from where I could observe all the space and the movement in the place.

While we were waiting for our order I could make a "panning" during which I began to observe the details of the decoration. Diagonally, where the gentlemen are drinking coffee and chatting animatedly there is a great photograph.

It is the original Paul's coffee shop, from the vehicles we can deduce that they are models of the 20's of the last century, that is to say more than a century of pastry tradition, I look at the following photo and I have the impression that it is one of the bridges that are on the Seine river, France. I keep turning around and I see this photo.

And so goes the sequence of iconic places in France.

I tell my niece, and she tells me that Paul's patisserie is a French franchise, so it is present in many parts of the world.

I know, the concept of franchising is relatively modern or at least as we know it today and this pastry shop, although it has a modern feel, it looks like it is old.

My curiosity was growing, and I began to notice the elements that give it that antique air: the large central lamps, the ceramics with the colors of the French flag, the chairs and armchairs, next to these elements is a ceiling with spotlights that belong to the current decorative lines as well as the showcases and the entire interior facade that welcomes the customer.

It is interesting to observe how businesses reinvent themselves by remodeling to give the place that modern air without losing its essence, by combining elements in a harmonious way that give the space an atmosphere of past and present that is welcoming.

It was mid-afternoon, and I was in the mood for black coffee, so I ordered a long espresso that turned out to be a super big cup, which I did not expect and which I found delicious next to the apple pie.

We took the necessary pictures and we got ready to enjoy our delicious snack, chatting animatedly about a thousand things, among them that I did not even know the name of this coffee shop, which I was delighted with its coffee, attention and French delicacies.

When we left the coffee shop, we crossed the street and joined the boulevard again because we were approaching the National Museum of Prague, the sun was falling and the light on the museum was spectacular, I share with you the picture.

I definitely support the saying that we can not judge a book by its cover, without when the facade was not very attractive inside was something else, I was very provoked by the delights that you showed us through the photos and the setting was very beautiful.

I hope you continue to enjoy your vacation. Greetings my beautiful @damaryvibra

Note that it is a very elegant and refined place. I loved the paintings of the monuments of France, it adds another point of distinction.☕

Thanks for sharing.
