God of War Ragnarök continues to amaze me with many stunning locations (SPOILER WARNING)

There are spoilers for the story in this post. You have been warned.
These are some of my recent screenshots while playing God of War Ragnarök on PS5.
The game surprised me by letting me play as Atreus. Now that he has grown up, he is so much more deadly than he was in God of War (2018). Playing as Atreus is so much fun and he often goes out on his own to find out secrets that his father Kratos either doesn't know about or refuses to tell Atreus.
I visited some of the most gorgeous locations in the game so far recently. The first of which is the realm of Asgard. Odin invited Atreus here, but at first, that invitation was not accepted. Atreus got into yet another fight with Kratos and decided to disobey him and visit Odin in Asgard.
This place is just so freaking fun to look at and explore. It looks like earth in its purest form. The bluest of skies and the lushest, green grass you will ever see. That is paired with massive stones and other huge structures that contrast the landscape.
Asgard is the celestial stronghold of the Aesir tribe of gods and goddesses and is encircled by a high, protective wall built to keep out giants and others who oppose the gods.
The only way for Atreus to get inside the huge wall and reach Odin is for him to scale it all the way to the top. This is basically an impossible task, but of course, Atreus manages to do it somehow. Upon reaching the top, he is greeted by Heimdall.
Heimdall is the guardian of Odin's horn Gjallarhorn and is the main individual tasked with keeping unwanted guests out of Asgard. He nearly throws Atreus from the ledge to endure a fall that would surely spell death. Atreus manages to convince him that Odin would not approve and he is reluctantly brought in.
Once inside Asgard, Heimdall and Atreus climb atop a fearsome beast and travel toward where Odin is waiting. I'm not sure what this creature was called, but it was one of the coolest living things I've seen in the game up to this point. Eventually, Odin arrives via raven teleportation. This easy way of traveling is so cool and an ability that I am quite jealous over.
After playing as Atreus for a while, the game places you back in control of Kratos. He and Freya set out together and end up riding this amazing creature called a Kelpie. It is a water horse that can walk on water and gallop underwater at high speeds. This is an excellent way to travel to where the Norns are. We were looking for them to figure out what the future holds. The results were pretty grim and Kratos refuses to accept his fate.
According to the Norns, Heimdall will be the one that kills Atreus unless Kratos kills Heimdall first, which is a key event of the start of Ragnarok. To save his own son, Kratos must start a war that may end the world. The only thing is, nobody has ever even laid a finger on Heimdall. He has foresight and sees every move coming and has ultimate power during battle.
The only chance Kratos has to defeat Heimdall relies on a new weapon. The Draupnir Spear is needed to win the battle against Heimdall. There is only one way to find this spear and that is to travel with Brok to Svartalfheim where they must visit a mermaid simply named The Lady. It is there where she combines Kratos' blood with a few other ingredients to create the explosive spear.
All of this probably sounds pretty crazy if you aren't familiar with Norse mythology. If you are though, it's not so outlandish. I know I am thoroughly enjoying everything that this game has been throwing at me. I cannot wait to see what else happens next. I'll be sure to update with more screenshots or gameplay after something else amazing occurs.

Awesome!
You really memorized them very well. I am not at all familiar with Norse mythology.
The picture quality and rich imagination of the game really spoil everyone who plays it.
You appear to be very interested in the continuation, as well as to enjoy all of the plots, brother.

So I'm not reading from the part that says "spoiler ahead" as I'm thinking of give it a try later.
By the way, that horse, Kelpie looks good and it's power that let it walk on the water is cool.
Pictures are enough to encourage you to try this out.
I love the Kelpie design so much.
I agree with you.
You're such an awesome gamer. I'm not really into games. Though I play soccer, car race and wrestling occasionally.
Good to see your advancement in the game. I read when you first started. It's good to see the progress.
I also love all the scenes you've shared. I think the third landscape from the top is my best.
It seems the game is worth the hype you gave it when you first started.
You keep playing, while I keep learning about it by reading from you. Lol.
I've been gaming since I was a child, well over 20 years now.
I'm sure you're excited about the World Cup like I am.
