Qurator's Photo Quest | Patterns - Sunset leaf

Hello and welcome to my entry for @qurator Photo Quest

The picture was taken while sitting in the grass, watching sunset and having a picnic.

Next to me I found a leave of Rumex crispus. The leaf was completely eaten away by caterpillars only the leaf veins were still present.

I held the leaf against the setting sun and took some photos.

The coloured sky was beautiful at this evening. I took some more pictures. We spent the night outdoors and woke up at dawn very early in the morning.
