Women's Hobby: Collecting Ornamental Plants And Flowers

For us women, collecting flowers and ornamental plants are some of our Hobbies in life. For us, having lots of flowers and ornamental plants makes us more relaxing and gives a peaceful way of living. It can also make the place very more attractive because of colorful flowers, landscapes and ornamental plants. For me, this is also one of my Hobby and I started to collected flowers 10 years already. My Grandma and my Mother also loves to collected flowers in fact they also brought or do barter from other plant collectors here in our place. My Flowers and ornamental plants hid a different stories and sacrifices just like this Bougunvilla flowers. I spend lots of time and effort by caring this flowers and I nearly lose hope that might be not survived. I applied vaccum methods on which the cutted branches of bougonvilla wrapped with plastic cellophane so it can easily grows stabled.But that time it was nearly dried out and in order to survived I'd watered it three times a week.

After many weeks, finally it already produced lots of young leaves and bunch of flowers. I decided to collected lots of it because as far as I know, there are lots of different kinds of colors of this flowers.

For now, I only collected two types of this flowers and sadly few of it are already dried because of the previous hot season. I really still happy to have this few survivor Flowers and I put it in the place away from harmful animals like Dogs and chickens. The next plan for this is to trimmed those branches and leaves and last is the roots. I have not any ideas on how to bonsai this flowers and I really want to know how to do it. This bougonvilla I have here was collected 5 years already and now it already grows stabled producing lots of flowers.

My DIY plant Pot made of Coconut Husks:

I've learned Making Flowering pots out of coconut husks from my Grandmother and as for that I really applied here to my Plants. I decided to create for my hanging plants. First I attached those pieces of husks and tied with wire so it wont broke apart. After that, I put small holes on each side so I can hang to the ceilings. The next thing I did was to put some of my ornamental plants best for hanging porpuses. The plants inside of the Coconut husks pot is what we called Dancing lady plants because the flowers look like a lady swaying her dress dancing.

My Newly Collected Butterfly Ornamental Plants:

This butterfly I collected is very tricky to take care. The stalks are very soft and easy to broke that is why it needs to placed somewhere that cannot be hit by strong winds and harmful animals. The last time I got this from my Grandma's plants collection it was only a bulb and I really put it inside of the house but now, putting outside of the house can be abled because it already grows tall.

Camouflage Tri-leaf:

This kind of plants is very easy to propegate but it is not very common. The colors of its leaves contains a camouflage colors and it is very attractive. Instead of using synthetic fertilizers, I only used organic fertilizers like saw-dust and decomposed leaves. This kind of plant is best for indoor decorations that is why I really like collecting it. There are lots of kinds of tri-leaf and I really want to collected it.

My Recycled Plastic Bottle turns into Hanging pots:

Recycling Is one of my Hobby also and this pieces of Plastic bottles are reycled into a flowering pots. Gladly I have lots of it here and I have lot of pots collected and use. Flowers brings more colorful to the environment, it represents womens beauty and purity, attractiveness and I am really glad I have it. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
