Visiting Some Parts of Manticao River, A Paradisiacal Perfect for Nature Travelers and Adventurers

Nature contributes to us just like wonderful, relaxing and cool surroundings. It can make ourselves to lived very peacefully and have lots of memorable time when we sees and visit. For today's travel blog of mine is locates somewhere in Manticao river. Our Province contains this long and big bodies of water, flows down surpasses few Barangays and Sitios here in the Municipality. Manticao river also gives a good contributions in terms of agricultural activities. Fertilized soil washed out from the top of the mountain was flowed down and deposited in low lying lands. Watering the plants is very important so it can survived and farmers fetched lots of water here at the river for their plants and animals as well.

Manticao river is located in the Municipality of Manticao in the Province of Misamis Oriental. This the only big bodies of water can be seen and found here contains tons of rocks and fine sands brought from the Mountainous places.

Every Summer season, fresh and crystal clear water can be seen here at the river. The water is very tempted for those who wants to visit here, splashing in the water and taking for a swim. As for that, fresh water animals like crabs, fish and shrimps can also be seen under water. The steady and slowly flows of water can create a great reflection of the trees and the blue skies. There are few shallow and deep parts of the river perfect for those who loves to swim. Each side of the cliff contains lots of tall and big trees grows and also lots of wild plants and grasses. Few Bamboos are also planted near at the cliffs and few agricultural plants like coconuts and bananas. Aside of the deep shallow water, there are also some parts of the river that are not shallow and deep. It only reached the depth below the knee and can walked closer on the cliffs.

This tall big trees gives the place a cool and relaxing views. Most of the trees that can be seen and found here are Molave which is one of the most oldest and hardest tree here. Mahogany, Germilina and Talisay are also grows in the place. Wild animals like birds are expectedly heard and seen flying around and perching on the tall trees.

This big solid rocks was been washed out from mountainous places. It travels a long way and ended here. For many years has passing by, most of the rocks are already covered with moss and some of it are used for placing laundy clothes everytime when some people went here just to washed their clothes. Those big and small rocks are perfectly well arranged before using it as a placer for the laundry clothes. It will expectedly to have lots of crabs and shrimps hiding in those big rocks. Rocks brings a lot of attraction because of its colors, sizes and shapes specially the white one.

This bog tall trees helps the cliff to avoid collapsing, aside of that a perfect place to all wild animals like birds and big Lizards. For those who loves Nature adventure, this place here in Manticao river is a perfect spots for the activities. It grows almost hundred years already producing lots of big branches, big roots and big trunks. Acacia tree is very common here, a kind of trees contains small and rounded leaves and rough tree trunks and branches.

This very old simple water reservoir used to supply lots of water at the farm. The water storage is made of solid concrete piled with lots of big rocks that serve as a foundation of the structure. There are many times of big floods happens here but this water storage still intact and not destroyed. Now, this simple but unique structure stored lots of water for everyday use at our neighbor's farm.

This portion of the place here is where most of the travelers and visitors went, some residents also went here for a swim. Unlike the other side of the cliff, it contains lots of bamboo trees while on the other side contains lots of tall big trees.
