Back when I was a little girl, I always seen small and wooden boats floating to the sea at the books. Coastline and shores are also printed or drawn at the book and that's the only way I can see when I was a little girl. But now, it is already in reality at the once I saw at the book are finally seen in actual here in this coast. Purok Mahayahay Biga contains coastal areas and most of the Residents here are fishermen and depends on selling fish at the Supermarket that is why they owned lots of unique small boats use for fishing.

Purok Mahayahay is located at Barangay Biga in the Municipality of Lugait, the Province of Misamis Oriental Mindanao Philippines. A place where few houses built facing to the sea and lots of small and unique wooden boats floating and ready to use every evening.

Approximately there are almost twenty unique small wooden boats placed here at the shore ready to set sail to the sea this coming afternoon. The boats is compost with color paints and light to help the fishermen finding the best spots for fishing. They tied their boats at the big rocks so it wont be easily washed out by big and rough waves. Aside of fishing, some of the boats here are use for tourist just like riding a few meters away from the dry land together with the visitors who will visit here. From Barangay Poblacion, I take a travel for almost half an hour since the street is not crowded. The traveling hours here is not the same because it is depends on how crowded and traffic the street is. But the time of waiting and patience of traveling will be gone once if we sees this beautiful place.

In the month of June, big high tide always happens here. This was once a dry place but now it is already submerged by sea water. The crystal clear sea water can be tempted for those who wants to visit here. Because of its clearness, the sea bed can be seen including the sands, corals and rocks and even small fishes, shrimps and crabs. This place here is not really contains solid rocks, there are also some parts of the areas that contain fine sands and few rock pools under in this crystal clear sea water. Big rocks are also covered and submerged at the sea water where sea weeds also grows at the rock surfaces.

This is the coastal area of Purok Mahayahay in Barangay Biga and most parts of the coast are filled with houses. That is why solid concrete walls are also built so houses near at the coastal place won't be collapse everytime when there is a big and rough waves happens. Big rocks and corals are also at the place and it gives a relaxing and cool views. Truly this place is very peaceful and quite because it is slightly far from the main road.

Aside of rocks and corals, tons of peebles are also at the coastal areas. Lots of shells and corals in different colors, sizes and shapes are also scattered at the shore. Broken sea shells are also at the coast cause by big and rough waves but it is perfect for interior decorations. This peebles and corals here is very nice and some of it are at the sand.

Big trees are also grows near at the coastal area and some of this are in hundred years old grows. This big trees helps the place to have shade and maintain its coolness and relaxness for those who wants to visit here. Even if it is a salty place, still there are lots of trees grows. If we talk about fishing production and tourist spots, this place here in Barangay Biga is perfect to all adventurers and Nature lovers.

Until next post, have a nice and safe travel to all of us.
