Purok Magsayon In Barangay Calangahan, A Coast Perfect for Summer Getaways

Fishing is not the only nice in here but also the wonderful and Paradisiacal views of the coast. This area is also part in the coastal site of Municipality of Lugait in the Province of Misamis Oriental Mindanao Philippines. Every summer season, lots of tourists and beach travelers and adventurers loves to visit here bringing with their friends and Families. This is only a small parts of the place but it gives a great contributions to all residents especially those fishermen. Boats are always placed in here in dry land or at the sea water so it can easily set sail to the sea when they want to go for fishing. It was already 8 in the morning and I decided to walked at the coast just to relaxed myself with the fresh air and watching Paradisiacal views. It is expected to sea lots of wonderful sites particularly the neighboring place and a great seascapes.

Every morning, fishermen who came from the sea went here to tied their boat's rope at the rock holes so it wont washed away by big waves. Bringing the fish they caught whole night, it is called in local term Panagbuan. Every hight tide, this place here is a perfect spots for swimming areas because tons of fine sands deposited under water because of the wave currents happens here. It is a kind of simple place but it brings a relaxing and wonderful views that everyone will really attracted and interested to visit. This is not really popular areas because it is slightly hidden and quite far enough from the Main road. But those can visit and locate the area, they will be truly amazed of what they will saw.

Aside of the shallow parts of the sea water, big rocks and corals can also be seen and found here. Those different sizes and shapes brings attractiveness of the place. This big rocks are and corals are already half buried to the sand many years already. It is always hit by big waves creating lots of rock holes and sea shells are sticking and hiding on the rock holes. Some of the big rocks and corals are also rolled down from the top of the cliffs due to earthquakes happens many years already.

Those small rocks scattered at the coast also brings attractiveness of the place because of its shapes and colors. Crabs and shrimps hiding here every high tide. Even if most of the coast contains this kind of materials, still it is perfect to visit and spend time watching sunset.

This small pieces of corals are broke because of the big waves always happens here specially during bad weather. Many beach travelers are very amazed of what they saw here about small pieces of corals and peebles. Some of the rocks are also seen at the fresh water like rivers and it shows that strong water current due to big floods can make this black stones ended here.

This is what the place and coastal areas looks like when it is low tide. Lots of rocks and wide flat corals also shown at the surface. Most of the rocks here are covered with seaweeds and big corals also showed up the surface. But when it will high tide, this place here will totally submerged in the sea water that is why smal boats are properly placed at the dry place near at the cliffs so it wont reach by sea waves.

Playing sand and making sand castle is also perfect here because of this fine sands deposited at the coast. If the coast have tons of fine sands, playing sands and building sand castles will expectedly happened. Aside of that, tents and picnic trips are also perfect in here at the sandy areas.

As I at the middle of exploring activities, I noticed this big driftwood landed at the coast. This big driftwood is already here at the coast many years and it can easily identified that this tree is already very old because of the trunk's layers. Now, this driftwood is used as a chair or table for those who visited here bringing foods and snacks. Even if this coast is not really popular to many people, the views and areas is very Natural and a perfect summer getaway. Until next post, have a nice and safe travel to everyone.
