Naawan Beach and Coastal Areas, Perfect Place for Summer Adventure

The Muncipality of Naawan in the Province of Misamis Oriental has its own wonderful views and sceneries. First is the newly built beehive-like Municipal Hall and next is the beautiful and paradisiacal beach located at the Municipality. Lots of people who came from far place loves to visit here to see the beautiful perfect sunset and walking at the sandy beach. Aside of that, it is also perfect place for campings and picnics. This is one of the best and wonderful beach can be seen here and it is not yet developed by any resorts here. The views and sceneries are very Natural and truly for those who will visit the place will have a good time exploring the areas.

The Location:

The exact location of the beach is Located at Naawan, Misamis Oriental. From Barangay Poblacion Manticao, it needs to travel almost an hour depends on how traffic the road is. This place is accessible by any kinds of vehicles like Jeepneys, Motorcycles, Bicycles and private cars. The travel fair cost up to 20 Pesos each passenger and it will spend 40 Pesos for back and forth travel. The accessible road is already concreted that is why it will be very easy to travel and went here.

This parts of the area here where lots of stones submerged at the sea was once a parts of the sea wall. Giant waves splashed the structure resulting it to destroyed. Those big stones are now submerged and this line and pile of stone takes a few meters away from the sandy shore. Sometimes, there are also people who came here to catch fish using fishing lures. Those big pile of stones are also used as chairs for those who will visit the shores.

There are also long stone walls built here and it is still intact. This great built stone walls are very unique and it is also supported with big stones as a foundation of the walls. At the back of the walls is the wide and spacious fish pond, every high tide particularly big waves strikes here, lots of sea water will come inside of this pond and stucked when low tide came. House structures and private cottages are built near at the pond surrounded with lots of coconut trees and other kinds of big trees that can help also shading the place. Stone walls are built in slant position so it wont easily broke out by big waves.

There are only few big coral rocks can be seen and found here and most of it are at the shore. I terms of fishing activities, this place here is also perfect for the activities in fact every evening there are lots fishermen went here. Beach resorts are also built near at this place and it is fully operational. Lots of shady place perfect to put tents and picnic bags and feel the freshness of the place.

One of the reason why this place is the best because of its find sands at the beach. It is perfect to build sand castle and very nice to walk here in barefoot because there are no lots of sharp rocks. Lots of seaweeds are at the shore scattered around the place. Boulivard is also near in here including the Schools and fish port. Every summer season, thousands of tourists and beach travelers went here just to explore the place and enjoyed watching the sunset while taking lots of pictures.
