My Great Day Visiting at The Farm In Manticao

As I observed the plant, it already grows stabled producing lots of young leaves and branches.

We also planted two Manggosteen plants here and gladly it also grows taller and keeps expanding. It produces lots of small branches and I was nearly losing hope because it was eaten by a goat, gladly the plants keep surviving and now it grows taller and bigger. It is surrounded with lots of wild plants, Few banana plants and hundreds of coconut trees and even if it is not directly hit by intense heat, still it grows better and better. I decided to removed and pulled out those dry banana leaves so it wont covered up and can freely grows.

My newly planted Camote vines also grows stable in fact there are lots of young leaves already comes out. Last Month, We planned to plant lots of camote cuttings inside of this empty sack and it served as a recycled because I used empty unused sacks. I put lots of holes on it and filled with fertile soil before planting those cuttings. Almost 60 camote cuttings are put on each side including at the middle of the sack and now I was happy to see that my Cuttings are already grows producing lots of young leaves and vines. This kind of planting methods helps us to gathered those crops very easy by cutting the sacks when harvesting activities will done. I put in the place where heat and sunlight can see directly to the plants since this kind of crops is good for open field.

We also planted almost a hundred of young coconut plants, this is the perfect way so it can replace the old one and can produced lots of fruits. Some of our Young coconut plants was unlucky to survived because it was eaten by the Goats but some of it are already grows well stabled. I really hope it will grows taller producing lots of coconut fruits. Making lots of tree guard takes lots of time that is why we did not create or built any of it for our Young coconut plants.

As we kept ourselves exploring the entire Farm, we also gathered this lots of coconuts falled and scattered to the ground. Gladly we gathered this lots of coconuts and we put in one place so we can hauled very easily carrying to the other side of the road when we sell this coconuts to the buyer.

I burned those dry manggoe leaves under this big manggoe tree, I learned this from my Grandma because she told me that the tree will produced lots of manggoe fruits once it will smoked. We spend almost a day at the farm and I was very happy that I visited our place again. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
I'm glad your work on the farm is paying off. I didn't know the trick of burning the leaves under a tree to make it bear more fruit, how interesting. Grandmothers have the wisdom of experience, so I'm sure she was right, hehe.
Yes, I am very thankful I've learned a lot from my Grandma in simple but helpful ways of farming. ☺
