My Daily Life Post: "My Wonderful and Enjoyable Day Visiting My Grandparents"

Today is the most wonderful day I have because I was planned to visit my Grandparents. Its been few weeks since I did not visited them at the farm and it will expected that they will be surprised by seeing me visiting them. Walking adventure is very important here because from our house, it needs to walked few Kilometers away but it is also wonderful and enjoyable because of lots of wonderful places and views can be seen. After preparing and eating my Breakfast, I started to packed my things to brought just like my sling bag, cellphone, bottle of water and an umbrella in case if there is an intense heat.

As I finally arrived there, I saw my Grandparents very busy mending and constructing this simple but unique structure. They are very surprised to see me visiting them and while my Grandpa was doing his tasks, we also have lots of funny conversations. This structure was once a chicken pen and they developed and reconstructed into a waiting shed. It is perfect to rest here because the place is very cool and relaxing because of the trees grows. They used trapal, a kind of wide plastic perfect for the roof, it can save lots of time rather than knitting coconut leaves. They put round timber at the tip of the plastic so it can make a ballast and wont flew away everytime when there is a strong winds. They also reconstructed those parts of the structure that is already broken.

Visiting my Grandparents is not only the reason why I went there, exploring the place is the Second reason Why I went since I already not visiting the place few weeks already. I asked my Grandparents to make a tour at the place and they all agreed. This two simple and unique structures is very attractive because it is made of bamboo pieces. The rooftop is made of anahaw leaves and most parts of the structures are made of light materials. This was once a pig pen and feed storage areas. They also have plans to reconstruct soon as the shed they construct will finish.

This big and rusty oven is also very important to them, one of their primary source of income is producing lots of sacks of wood charcoal. My Grandparents produced lots of charcoals either wood or coconut shells charcoal and sell at the market every Sunday. Even if it is rusty, still it can be useful today and ready to use anytime.

Fetching lots of water is not a problem here because they also owned this manual water pump. Even if there is an intense heat happens, still the water under in this water pump wont dry. The water comes out from this water pump can be drinkable, able to use for cooking food, boiling water, giving water to the animals and watering the plants. This is very old water pump but it can be usable until today.

My Grandparents also planted lots of bamboos and it is already used for construction porpuses. This is the reason why most parts of the structure they build is made of bamboo, aside of that my Grandma also get lots of bamboo sprouts for meals.

My Grandparent's farm is very wide and most part of the place are planted with hundreds of grafted Manggoe trees. This is perfect so that harvesters can easily climb up the tree without using any ladders. Aside of Manggoe trees, Bananas and Few coconut plants also planted here and truly this place is completely developed into an agricultural land.

They also have this simple garden near at my Grandparent's house. My Grandma loves gardening in fact she already planted lots of crops and lemon-grass. She also planted Camote vines and ginger crops here and I was very amazed on how healthy her vegetables and crops she planted without using any synthetic materials.

Being productive can gain lots of success in life, gardening and farming is truly a good kind of family investment and source of income.
